Hanging with Janie

This past week Joy and I flew up to San Francisco to check out the new kid around the block. It really makes a difference when it comes to a baby that you’re really related to, to have pictures being sent everyday actually interesting. Honestly every other baby picture i could care less about but i find it interesting every day when my mom sends me one of her sleeping, or being fat, or just doing nothing.

Joy is a natural with kids (thank god someone is) and I think everyone got a kick out of it when they were like, let Johnny hold the baby like it was a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode. Thankfully there was not explosion (at least not in my arms) and i learned how to do the monkey dance to keep her from crying. Thats pretty much all she does at this point. Sleeps, eats, and poops. The funniest thing is though that Koa always checks out whats going on with the kid when ever she makes a sound, and everyone is always like chill out Koa, she’s fine, but he always has to make a butt inspection before finding his spot on the floor again.

On Sunday my cousins from San Jose drove up with their new twins, along with my uncle and aunt, so it was one big family gathering grand parents, and new parents with a bunch of rugrats crowding the couch. Of course the inevitable question was when Joy and I were going to have kids, and my response is always next year, next year.
