is thinking of New York in the fall …
I’ve been thinking about going back to New York since June, the act of actually going through and booking the trip actually caught me off guard. It all happened so quickly from Joy asking for time off from work to actually booking the flights and getting the hotel happened within just a day. The best thing of all that it’ll be a pretty cheap trip with all the discounts and rewards points i used to book the trip. I took an online survey for Virgin America last month and they sent me a 20% discount code, which made our flights around $200RT, and i used my SPG points to book a four night stay at The Westin New York At Times Square.
I’ve never been to New York and had to book a place to stay since I always was able to stay with friends, so actually staying in Times Square should be a pretty fun experience, especially for Joy since this will be her first trip to the Big Apple. I’m starting to plan out my list of places to go and eat and the recommendations are already stating to come in. Some of the places that are on our list already are Perilla, Shake Shack, and Joe Shanghai.
It’ll be almost like a second/first honeymoon and it should be really fun to see New York in the fall. I’ll have to brush up on my camera skills to capture all the colors.
