Wednesday night Joy and I attended the OC Yelp Elite event at the Detroit Bar with a 90’s theme, a Brit Rock Cover Band to go along with some free booze, and free snacks. A very cool thing was that they left Polaroid cameras around to take pictures with, with a note saying please don’t steal the camera. The people at the events seem to be getting more and more self involved, and it really felt like being back in high school again. I’m getting this feeling that yelp is getting full of hipsters, and it may be time for me to make my exit.
I forgot how far Costa Mesa could be, and so we only stayed for an hour and picked up a few casette tapes for the drive home.
