For once this year the Clippers came out ahead at the end of the day. The Los Angeles Clippers jumped 2 spots with a 17.7% chance to grab the #1 draft position in this year’s NBA draft. I’m not really sure what the Clippers can really do with this draft pick considering that they already have a salary loaded team consisting of Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Al Thorton, Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, and Zach Randolf. If they know whats good for them they’ll eventually trade Chris “Caveman” Kaman for some band aids, bench Zach Randolf and his bloated contract, and draft Blake Griffin. Considering that they’re last #1 pick was Michael Olowakandi, they have basicaly no where but up to go with this year’s pick.
The Clippers weren’t the only teams to jump up some spots as all three lottery picks knocked the Kings and Wizards out of the top three picks. Here is the complete list of draft positions.
